A nice light bodied pour with a decent amount of carbonation. Created s huge triumphant, mocha coloured head that stopped just at the top of the glass and started to recede. The body beneath the head is slick black and carries the scents one would expect. Lots of roasted notes, chocolate malt and bitter coffee. Mouthfeel is light bodied and refreshing with medium carbonation. Taste is mellow espresso with a light sweetness from the oatmeal leaving a deep, earthy after taste. A good, easy going winter stout.
