BEER: Just One Thing...El Dorado! BREWERY: Green Cheek Beer Co. BEER STYLE: NEDIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 8.7% COLOUR (EBC): Pineapple Juice Yellow (13.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Lovely tropical. Softly juicy and pure at the same time. HEAD: Quick and large bubbled. GREY’S VIEW El Dorado DDH NEDIPA. Mmmnice. Taste has some stuff in there. Mango-pineapple mash with sprinkle of pepper, orange juice with fleshy being, nice kiwi being there too and oats there giving the beat. It’s soft but strong willed. Mouthfeel is pretty damn close to perfection. Creamy yet easy going, almost full bodied, with DDH giving some snip and snap here and there (besides supporting the peppery feel) while the hop oils are topped with the maltbase/oats. It’s like tropical porridge with personality. OTHER NOTES: Damn gorgeous single hop NEDIPA. CANNED 17/6/2021 TASTED 13/7/2021

Hazy, deep yellow beer with agile carbonation unlocks a cream-yellow fluffy froth that shoots up to four fingers. The withdrawing foam turns soapy as it gradually contracts downwards. Interestingly, just very few small splatters remain on the glass. Pineapple steps out as the first olfactory component. It plays its role really nicely and leaves no questions behind. Orange juice is the second element that emanates to the nostrils. However, the supply becomes much more blurred thereafter, I'm only able to distinguish faint mango but the rest of the floral-fruity medley can't be analyzed in further detail. Mango conquers the top position easily on the tongue. It's surprisingly powerful, neatly ripe and mushy. Orange pulp and zesty pineapple continue to the taste profile without doubt and gain support from smaller additions of mandarin, apricot and lemon. Lactose looms pretty undiscreetly in the background and creates an appealing creamy sensation. Hop burn raises its head after five seconds of swallowing. All in all, very zesty, hugely tropical and alluring! πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’› The body amounts to full. Superb! This is not bigger than 8.7 %. Really applaudable! The finish puts forward mainly citruses, both sweet and bitter ones, not to ignore lactose, and draws in grassy hops, especially in the form of hop burn. Me πŸ’› hop burn. The aftertaste goes historical and imagines that it's on expedition in search of the mythical El Dorado β€” and finds it! The mouthfeel is full, velvety, smooth and creamy. It's superzesty, extremely pulpy, thick and modestly lip-glueing while the hop burn pinches nicely in the throat. Crushable for sure! The body is one big reason for my rating. πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›
