The shilling rating is a uniquely Scottish measure for a beer's strength.  The higher the shilling the stronger the beer.  This shilling "Export" strength is a rich malty traditional Scotch Ale with a big flavor and aroma.  English Maris Otter Pale Malt creates the toffee and caramel notes and a full bodied mouthfeel.
