Lasiin kaatuu ehkäpä ananas mehun väristä olutta sormen paksuisella vaahdolla. Väri on itselle melkeimpä täydellinen. Tuoksusta greippiä/sitrusta, trooppista hedelmää ja ehkäpä mangoa. Myös humalaa/dänkkisyyttä tuoksussa. Mausta sitrusta/greippisyyttä,troopista hedelmää. Suht kuiva ja mutta todella juotava. Mukavan paksu suutuntuma siitä plussaa. Lopussa katkeroa ja hieman hopburnia muttei häirisevästi. Viinimäisyyttä? Pääsihän tätäkin panimoa maistamaan

Edellinen Fidens säikäytti. Tämä taas palauttaa panimon raiteilleen. Oikein kermainen suutuntuma tässä. Pehmeä, kuiva, mehuinen, ryhdikäs, tasapainoinen ja raikas. Todella hyvä, oikeastaan täydellinen dokabiliteetti. Maussa humalia, trooppisuutta paljon, hieman rypäleitä ja valkoviiniä. Jälkimaku aika kuiva, pehmeä ja öljyinen.

Fidens is a new acquintance here on the Arctic Circle. The Beacon 8% Double India Pale Ale. Different abv as on the created beer here. Pours extremely hazy substance, juicy yellow like pineapple juice. The white, fluffy foam lid rises up to two fingers height. On the nose sweet, fruity tropical notes, citrus and danky hops. Appealing enough for one to reach the glass. But I'll let it warm up thoroughly. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy, very pleasant to me. Tropical notes with sweet orange rising on top. Dry citrusy bite and danky hoppy touch. Very easy drinkability, reminded me a bit of TH beers and I guess that why this hit the spot extremely well. Been a while since my last Yankee Hops. BEER: The Beacon BREWERY: Fidens Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: NEDIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 7.7% COLOUR (EBC): Pineapple Juice Yellow (13.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Dank. Quite short. HEAD: One finger tall. Tight and fizzy. GREY’S VIEW NEDIPA w/ Citra, Vic Secret & Galaxy. Mmm nice mouthfeel. Enough creamy, somewhat tangy and whole lot a life in there too. Nicely citrusy and somewhat wannabe dank. Drinkability is topped and it works perfectly while chattering with wife in a summery sunset ❤️ OTHER NOTES: The ABV. tells me that Fidens didn’t reach their goal with this one as this is supposedly a more hopped version from from the ”Noine Noine”. But anyway, solid brew and nice one to enjoy. CANNED ??/?? TASTED 7/7/2021

Backlog. Tämä oli aika hyvä omaan makuun. Sopivan kevyt runko näihin prossiin takaa erinomaisen dokattavuuden. Vähäistä hapotusta ja kermaisen mehukasta suutuntumaa. Maku on sopivan kuiva, mutta myös miellyttävän mehukas samaan aikaan. Paljon löytyy sellaista raikasta ja tuoretta, makean trooppista hedelmäisyyttä. Hedelmäisyyden vastapainona sopivasti myös dänkkiä humalaprofiilia. Tuoksu on super raikas ja pehmeä. Näissä fidensseissä ei tunnu tuo humalaprofiili olevan mikään 'in your face' tyyppinen vaan smooth ja todella tasapainoinen.
