Looks freaking good! Aroma: Nice classic hops. Bright citrus, passion fruit, mango, hints of berries. Some booze. Taste: A hop explosion! Tropical. Bright citrus, sweet canned pineapple, passion fruit, ripe mango. Very smooth and juicy. Fairly sweet and creamy. Most hop flavors comes early, but some stays for a while. I think it’s oats that gives some flavor at the back end as well. At least some of the malts. Wow!

Sepä olikin nopea editointi, kun oli materiaalia jo viikolla esipureskellut. Palkinnoksi toinen Fidens. Soittimesta System of a Down (Toxicity-albumi) loppuun ja sitten pääseekin lopulta eilen julkaistun Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and The Lost Demon pelin pariin. ULKOASULTAAN olut on sameaa appelsiinimehunkeltaista ja siihen nousee valkoinen vaahto. TUOKSU on hedelmäinen. Sitruksia ja passionhedelmää pienellä kukkaisella twistillä. MAKU tarjoilee pehmeää semitäyteläistä hedelmäisyyttä. Greippiä, mandariinia, persikkaa, passionhedelmää ja vehnäleipää. Jälkiliuku hyvin yrttinen, jostain syystä tule Jägsy mieleen. Myös vähän puolukkaisuutta/karpalomaisuutta jälkimaussa. SUUTUNTUMA on keskitäyteläinen+ ja kevyesti poreileva. Vähän jo syvempi tekele Fidensiltä.

Mega pehmeä dipa.

BEER: Lanterns Low BREWERY: Fidens Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: DIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 8.3% COLOUR (EBC): Peach Juice Yellow (18.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Yammy. Rustic fruity and bit sweet too. HEAD: Tight and creamy. Dissepates with good amount of lacing. GREY’S VIEW Simcoe, Citra & Mosaic hopped DIPA. Filling first wave. Creamy and almost too leveled. Let’s see. Taste is almost overwhelmed by the creaminess, but there is some earthiness, lemons, pines and sweeter fruit elements in there too. It’s so easy to drink this Fidens, again. Body is medium+ with loads of creaminess. There’s no clear feel of hops in the mix. Afterwards you’re left with a fillinf feel of a juice fruit. OTHER NOTES: Yeah. Fidens Brewing doesn’t seem to offer me the elements that I tend to be keen on in IPA’s. And that’s all good. Bit too easy and bland overall for my likin’. CANNED ??/?? TASTED 30/6/2021

Backlog. Ekaa Fidensiä itselle. Nätin näköinen täysin samean keltainen olut. Ohut vaahto. Todella mukava tuoksu ja pehmeä tuoksu, jossa appelsiinia, persikkaa, hedelmäkarkkia, greippiä ja ruohoisuutta. Super smooth suutuntuma. Oikeastaan aika kermainen. Suht vähäinen hapotus. Maussa paljon trooppista hedelmää kuten mangoa, ananasta ja cantaloupea. Myös greippiä, persikkaa ja kevyttä ruohoisuutta. Sellainen keski kuiva tämä on, mikä sopii itselle. Katkeroa ei ole lähes ollenkaan, ja se olisikin nostanut pisteitä korkeammalle.
