Our New Zealand Common was brewed to be similar to a California Common made famous in San Francisco. The temperature of fermentation for this beer gives it a toasted caramel color and aroma. Extra hops from New Zealand add a slightly bitter finish to this very smooth beer. Available in the taproom for a limited time.

Traveling through Texas and made a quick stop at Seguin Brewing Company. Nice small brewery in Seguin Texas. Small taste samples of six of their beers and decided to try two 5 oz samplers. This is the second, an unusual New Zealand Common.
Short, very tan head. Beautiful reddish orange amber color, crystal clear. Thin yet soft texture. Moderate flavor considering it's deep color. Has some bitter notes combined with a sweet malt amber flavor. Bitterness continues through the finish with a citrus quality. Unique.
