BEER: Lambina BREWERY: Digital Fermentory BEER STYLE: American Wild Ale COUNTRY: Finland ABV.: 7.2% COLOUR (EBC): Rose Hip Red (36.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): 32.0 AROMA: Fresh and soft. Red berries on top. HEAD: Live and loud. Stands one finger tall quite nicely. GREY’S VIEW Oak Chip Aged American Wild Ale w/ Raspberries & Peach. The beer foams almost half a bottle before settling down. When the beer has settled, it reveals the vast amount of yeast particles floating in there. So the appearence is off, although I like the color and aroma. First sip is easy going, enough sour, oaky and raspberry drawn. Nice actually. It has good amount of peach in there, balancing the sweetness from the raspberries. Nice and woody being. Body is medium and lively, bit playfully bouncy. Carbonation feels good in the mouth, cutting the flavours just on the right places. Flavours progresses really nicely from raspberries to peaches and continuing to near forest, which is dry and oaky. OTHER NOTES: The yeast particles really are a turn off, I mean, I don’t mind if there’s some of them in a beer, but too much is just a major turn off. I like the taste in this one anyway. It has class and style to it, some clear tastes and pretty damn solid base. Sourness is pretty much there and the color is beautiful to my eyes. As I continue enjoying this piece, It’s fun to notice that I enjoy this quite a lot while having a nice calm evening and chatting with my wife ☺️ BOTTLED 24/5/2021 TASTED 25/7/2021
