Double Down
All In On Hops! Our newest year round release, Double Down, is our latest take on a double IPA. It is neither of the West Coast or East Coast, but features elements of both approaches to IPA.
For this beer, our focus was to create big tropical and melon notes while integrating bitterness rather than it being a focal point. To accomplish this, we used late kettle hop additions and Incognito, an all-natural hop product that delivers highly concentrated flavor and aroma. The hop bill includes Pahto, Citra, Citra Incognito, Mosaic, Mosaic Incognito, and Galaxy. The result is aces.

In Texas with my daughter and son-in-law enjoying a fantastic local Houston Brewery beer, St Arnold Brewery.
This is one of the strongest IPA I've ever had at 9.2%. Mild citrus aroma. Clear deep yellow color with a very short head. Flavor is a medium intensity citrus, blood orange peel comes to mind. Smooth and creamy texture. Mildly bitter and not tasting the alcohol at all.
This is an extremely dangerous beer. 71 IBUs and it is totally masked. 9.2% alcohol and I don't taste any alcohol whatsoever. This is their newest year round beer. You could drink this and not even know what hit you. Delicious but very deadly.
