One more from Western Herd. Thanks again!
0,44l can from Spiegelau pilsner glass. Canned probably 09.03.21.
Label has a drawing like design in it and I think it works quite well. Some trivia about the name and the beer can be found on the back. A label like this would probably catch my eye.
The beer pours crystal clear golden and has a long lasting white foam. Carbonation seems high.
Aroma has a peculiar sour citrus scent with some hay.
Carbonation is high, but not too high. Mouthfeel is oily and pretty thick, which is nice for a beer this low on abv.
Crisp and citrussy first sip. Sourness is here on taste too and I struggle to fit it to a pilsner style.. Lots of lemon and a touch of orange. Dry hay and straw. Some floral notes with hop oils. Good flavors, but the sourness disturbs me. I think it tastes quite good but it doesn't belong to a pilsner. Contaminated or a feature?
Ends with sour citrus and dry hay.
Hard to put a number on this. Has good flavors but in a weird way and definitely not suitable for the style. I however somewhat liked it, so I'll score it by that.
I don't see myself buying this.

Western Herd - Loop Head Pilsner
A free sample received from Pint Please to review. Thanks!
Label art looking fancier this time. Lighthouses and thorns. The title of beer falls bit too under the design, it doesn't look satisfying. Slight upgrade I guess.
Best before was 04/22 something. Pours into glass with yellow color and settles around half a finger of foam.
Scent of hay, grainy malt.
Taste is weirdly sharp. Even almost sour. Some sort of sour citrus fruit that is present here. Slight hay.
Body is bit too carbonated, little tart and slick.
Alright, started well, but pilsners are not supposed to be sour, so there's gotta be something bad in this can as well. Hopefully I won't have to taste any more beers from this brewery ever again. Unless there's a fix guarantee.

Beer Looks good with two finger head. Design of the can is Nice with lighthouse and background design. Beer name, style and brewery is also clearly visible.
Thereās some citrus and sweet malt in aroma. Taste follow the aroma citrus and sweet malts. High carbonation. Doesnāt go to my favorite Pilsner category.

Great looking pilsner. Mild scent of orange. Thereās a citrusy taste in the end which makes this stand out from the crowd better.
I really like the can design. Nice art work there.
I used a portion of this beer for the moose stew and it worked well for that too!š

New beer in Pint Please.
Best before 9.3.2022
Temperature: +6 C
The last beer was... Something else.
The label art is a bit different than those other two I've had. But this is still recognizable as the brewery's beer.
Golden colored Pilsner with very good clarity. The head is about two-finger tall, shrinks fast but then stays as a thin layer for a long time: 4/5
The aroma is malty clean with minor citrus aromas. Not much to say about the smell. Except it's ok: 3,5/5
The mouthfeel is medium-light, quite crisp with high carbonation...like a Pilsnerš: 3,5/5
The taste is pretty much the same as the scent with clean malty flavors with citrusy flavors from the hops. Perhaps with a bit stronger hop presence. And that's it. Little to no aftertaste. This could use some lingering dry end, as it would make this much more refreshing: 9/15
This beer doesn't wake up any thoughts. It just is... But at least this isn't contaminated like the last one was. This is the kind of beer I probably forget in a week: 12,5/20
=32,5/50
