Murky, deep nectarine-colored beer with reasonable carbonation digs up a velvety head that rises three fingers high. Retention is relatively short and the surface becomes quickly still. Passionfruit is astonishingly unsour in the air, even moderately sweet. Perhaps it's apricot that sweetens the scent dramatically. I can also pick orange and a bit of mushy mango among the olfactory elements. The taste profile tweaks somewhat more sour: especially apricot and passionfruit dominate the palate. Guava seasons nicely and powerfully. Additionally, orange and nectarine follow in the proximity and in moderate proportions. The body is medium to medium-full. I didn't anticipate such a voluminous body but — hell yeah — this clocks 8%. Even the label indicates "Imperial Sour Ale". The fruity finish leaves a beautiful smoothie-like impression on the tongue. Lovely! 🧡🧡 The aftertaste finds a pocket of summer in the middle of the winter. The mouthfeel is somewhat full, nectar-like, zesty, pulpy and indeed very tropical. Furthermore, the mouthfeel is medium-tart, modestly puckering, acidic and ... summery.

Melkonen hedelmäpommi! Ilahduttavasti aprikoosinkin erottaa, se kun jää helposti muiden makujen alle. Happamuutta ihan kivasti, ensipuraisu oli oikeasti aika hapan mutta muutaman suullisen jälkeen menee aika hedelmämehuksi. Itselle tulee jälkimaussa hieman alkoholi läpi. Hyvää janojuomaa piparien leipomiseen.

Nyt on muuten hyvää. Nämä Årpusin kaverit kyllä tietää mitä ne tekee, sellainen hedelmäpommi on lasissa. Tuoksu tarjoilee aprikoosia ja passionhedelmää todella mehukkaasti. Maku on hapan mutta samalla erittäin hedelmäinen, varsin tasapainoinen. Jälkimaku on kirpeän sitruunainen ja maistuu suussa pitkään. Tällainen sourin pitää ollakin.
