Mango pale, kuten nimi lupaa. Oikein hyvä ja onneksi ilman teollisen imelää mangoa

Hedelmäinen tuoksu. Maussa erottuu mango hyvin, ehkä vähän kitkerä jälkimaku.

Gosh, it's more than 1.5 years since I last time visited this place. Time flies. Semiclear, pale amber beer flows from the tap. A pure white, creamy head emerges on the top and reaches one finger. Retention is long as a clearly visible haze joins the lace ring on the top. Sourish mango can be picked in the scent. Otherwise, the fragrance is a combination of mild-piney and grassy aromas. I expected a lot more fruits as this claims to be a mango pale ale. 🤔 The taste profile follows pretty much on the same line: a moderate but recognizeable injection of mango — fairly thin though — orange peel and hefty lemon pith constitute the fruity side of the palate. And I must really push to capture them. The same piney and light-grassy flavors come determinedly through also on the tongue. Well well... The body is light. The finish serves, unexpectedly, the same components as upfront. I anticipated even less fruit and more crisp vibes. The aftertaste builds a life-changing prototype but doesn't know what it is and gives up after some time. The mouthfeel is light, medium-crisp, relatively pithy. Unfortunately, I can't describe this as 'zesty' at all. I'm having a hard time to finish this 2 dl glass...

Samea, oranssi olut. Sitruksinen, greippinen, havuinen. Jälkimaussa katkeroiden seassa makeahkoa pyöreyttä. Erinomaisen puhtaan ja raikkaan makuinen pale ale. Nimessä luvattua mangoa en juuri löydä mutta annetaan pisteet ikäänkuin sokkona maistettuna (ja osansa saa kaunis kesäilta ja mainio Paahtimon proomuterassi)

Ehkä ankara arvio. Ihan ok olut. Mutta en minä tästä saa mangoa irti millään. Idea mangosta oluessa on loistava, mutta tässä se ei maistu.
