Really sharp dark roasted black IPA

2021 Christmas Advent Beer Day 6 Sadly I can’t get past the tartness of the blackberries as it totally dominates. A style of beer that I think we already misconstrue on these shores, this drinks like a fruited Porter. Hints of sweet caramel lurk in the background and that’s about it. It’s not a bad beer, it’s just not what it claims to be. There’s supposed to be plenty of bitterness from the Chinook hops but I don’t get any at all, it’s just all jammy tart blackberries.
