Traditionally brewed Finnish vappu mead by a commercial producer. ABV < 0.5 %. The description sounds interesting, a bit different from the sugared no-alc/ultra-low-alc Meads. The Mead looks foggy, yellow to pale orange. Carbonation is reserved but lays a meager lacing that dies off rushedly. I sniff the Mead and expect sugared lemon juice. Do I receive it? No way! I find MOLD!! WTF? Mold??? Orange peel hides behind that damn moldy punch. I should probably refuse to taste it but no. I WILL taste it. Oh yes. Mold there is. Moldy orange peel, lemon zest and fructose. One sip is enough. This is spoiled. If not spoiled, the meadery will go under in no time. I stop here. No rating. 👎🏻
