Rabbit Hole
8.0% Imperial IPA / Double IPA
We set out to combine our favourite aspects of three different IPA styles and ended up going down the rabbit hole. The intense aroma of a hazy, the clean smooth bitterness of a west coast and the maltiness of a red. Sláinte!

The pour was nice and weighty, without much carbonation. The body was deep red, resembling a ripa, with one finger of light brown head. Scent is pleasent pine aroma on the backbone of deep biscuit malt. Mouthfeel is very full, but not heavy, this has all the depth of an imperial but there is no real alcohol burn, which is very deceptive. Taste is unique, lots of bitter notes, not much in the way of a fruity presence, but lots of rich maltiness. Deep biscuit with a caramel sweetness. Very warming and I can't wait to have it again.
