Preparing to write this beer and what do I find but Mr X having gotten there before me. Going to show a little love by using the same chalice. Hope I enjoy it as much as him.
Moderate head, golden yellow and not as clear as expected. Very light on aroma. Much better than your typical American pilsner. Mild flavor and very drinkable. Smooth without a lot of effervescence to make it easy to drink. Has a little grass and a little dry on the finish.
Not as good as Warsteiner but surpasses most American pilseners.

Wow. An American pils that makes the cut (I’m shocked I found one). This is named correctly as it is clean, crisp and very refreshing. Nothing heavy here. Has just a touch of sweetness where you get just a hint of honey to go with the pale malt. Add in some very subtle earthy hop bitterness and you get a refreshing pils.
I’m going to look for a case of this as I think this will be nice in the up coming warm days.
On a side note I’m going anti-IPA for the next 2 days. I feel like I need a break from them and need a couple days to explore some other styles.
