My friend bought this for me. He and I both had a can with intentions of aging this as it had a hefty best before date (2026).... Needless to say we are both unusually bad at aging beers.. It pours Murky pale brown.... I won't lie, it's not the prettiest thing. Beautiful hoppy, sweet treacle like nose to it Lovely beer, the sweetness on the nose is there in the taste. Slight floral/honey notes coming in too? It's just a treat to drink really

2 years since canning this barley wine has matured well. A rich boozy taste of honey & sherry with the caramel malt still sitting in the background. Pretty special.
