Advent Calendar Day #19 2021 vintage. Bourbon, oak, chocolate notes and a little bit of raisin in the aroma. Taste has bourbon first, followed by a good bit of oak, raisins and chocolate and coffee notes. The body is medium-full, bordering on full bodied, with an appropriately low amount of carbonation. I remember liking this beer a lot upon the initial release, then a little less when they upped the abv, but I'm really enjoying this can (poured into a glass, of course) right now. Odd Side has a great barrel aging program. High 4.5/5

Backlog from March 20th Oak and bourbon, followed by coffee and chocolate notes in the aroma. Taste has bourbon, oak, chocolate, vanilla and coffee. It's a bit boozy, but that's expected at near 15% abv. The body is medium-full with medium-low carbonation. 4.5/5
