The Velkopopovický Kozel dark beer is produced from special dark malts which is the reason why its foam is dark, unlike other coloured beers. It has a caramel taste with a hoppy flavour and a dark brown colour. This beer is one of the best Czech dark beers and has won seven “Dark Beer of the Year” awards. ABV. varies between markets.

👁 dunkelbraun; cremefarbener, mittelporiger Schaum 👃🏻 dunkle Malze, süßlich 👄 So geht es dann auch weiter. Da spielen Röstmalze, leicht schokoladige Noten und eine deutliche Süße eine tragende Rolle. Wäre da nicht die recht knarzige Herbe, könnte das auch glatt ein moderates Malzbier sein.
