Manchester-style Hoppy Cask Pale Ale w/ Strata. Collab w/ Track
Our collab with our buds from Manchester, UK was inspired by a beer of theirs that we fell in love with during our visits out that way. So they shared all their secrets, their recipe, their technique, and then we riffed it from there. It’s a modern British Pale Ale that gets heavily hopped and kept a bit hazy, but still maintains the strength and drinkability of the pub ales that have inspired it. The beer is medium in body, hazy pale in color, and it hits with some strawberry jam on toast kinda vibes (thank you Strata!), has a pleasant herbal quality, and then finishes with that moreish quality that we were hoping for.

GREY’S VIEW
Strata hopped English pub styled Pale Ale.
Yeap. Taste has wet straws, grass, some hop pellets and low notes of citruses. It turns a bit wetty after a short while, which is surprizing. Mouthfeel is hard and bit tough, like the lads behind the pub ready to rob you...aftertaste doesn’t bring anything miraculous to the palate.
OTHER NOTES:
Nice try, but I think this is quite far from the goal of being a true english cask ale styled.
