Very pale and very hazy for a pale with a very fresh aroma. Elderflower and lemon zest in the nose with some satsuma and apricot. Soft but thin in the mouth with a wheaty clean finish, I feel like the hops are mostly impacting on the aroma front. Keeping in mind this is a 4% pale one can't expect a rich IPA. Gentle lemon and elderflower from Lorien and a juicy satsuma and further citrus vibe from Citra makes for a pleasurable drinking experience, nose and mouth combined as opposed to judging separately as we tend to do. The carbonation is quite thorough but not distracting and suits the light approach. I'll use the word effifasant again like I did on a review recently. This brews not gonna knock anyone's socks off but for a 4% light brew it's gonna beat most if not all ales and many other craft pales of similar calibre.
