Spring is knocking on the door so we're bringing you a lighter, crisper offering this month. This Munich malt led beer has low bitterness but distinctive and complex maltiness.
Dating back to 16th century Bavaria, Marzen was brewed in March as it was illegal to brew fresh beer from the end of April to September. Marzen therefore, was designed to be durable enough to last the summer months without spoiling. It was also common practice to keep back some bottles for serving at Oktoberfest.
