The aroma has a sweet vanilla and you can make out a shortbread note. No real coffee or chocolate notes on the nose. The body is light and the flavour gives a rich dark chocolate and a little milk chocolate or that could be the sweet caramel element trying to come through. Decent balance but I tend to prefer the sweeter stouts in that respect
