Ominous
6.9% India Pale Ale
Off The Wall series. IPA featuring Citra and Ekuanot. A superstar tag-team of Citra and Ekuanot –beautiful, bright grapefruit, lime, lychee and passion fruit juice from the Citra, interwoven with the complex spicy guava, papaya, pithy orange and tropical notes that Ekuanot brings to the game! We’ve set this on a bed of pale malt and flaked oats, and fermented with London Ale III yeast, for a pillowy, slightly sweet and softly balanced malt base. [Art by Omin]

Muy buena IPA irlandesa, con Citra y Ekuanot. Espuma que desaparece rápido. Sabor agradable, toques florales y su amargor. Para repetir.

One last beer for this brewery. Best before 18.2.2022 Temperature: +9 C Nicely colorful label and finally the hops used in the beer are mentioned. I like that. Btw, I also very much like the 0,44 l size cans. They're the best. Refreshing-looking beer with deep yellow color, slightly cloudy. Tall and long-lasting, the creamy head leaves lots of broken lace behind: 4,5/5 A good amount of citrus fruits in the scent with fascinating tropical notes as well. Some grassy aromas. The intensity is fine and both hops are showing: 4,25/5 The mouthfeel is medium with weird, a bit metallic bitterness. Not the most enjoyable mouthfeel due to that bitterness but everything else seems to be in order: 3/5 The taste has a similar, interesting, and different tropical flavor (most likely from the Ekuanot). This Tropic feels somewhat heavy and not as bright as I'd like. Tropical flavors are accompanied by a strong citrus character. All around the flavor is strong and vivid, although not my personal favorite. As the beer gets warmer, a mild malty and oat flavor pops out: 11,5/15 Once again, good beer from the brewery. Not my personal favorite but tasty beer overall with no hops spared it seems: 15/20 =38,25/50 Hopefully, these beers can be one day found in Finland. Multiple success in Multiple different styles. Who wouldn't like to drink quality beers such as these? This brewery seems to be light years ahead of those other Irish breweries whom which beers I've tasted recently. I mean in everything: the overall quality, label art, flavor... For me, this is what craft brewing should be like.

The 9th beer from the Beer 52 Cyber Fest 5 Day 1 box. It pours a hazy, golden colour with a white head. Aroma is peachy. Flavour is of tropical fruits. Quite cloying finish.
