Cloudy, crimson beer with reasonable carbonation unleashes a cloud-white, silky head that falls short of one finger. The foamy cap dissolves soon to a thin lace ring on the top. A psychedelic haze lingers on the surface for long. The first olfactory elements that approach my nostrils include pineapple and vanilla. I get a flash of piña colada until raspberry enters the scene as a third wheel. Further behind, I can pick faint strawberry and heavily sugared rowanberry jam. Very moderate though. Massively intriguing, for sure, but after the astronomical Smoofie almost like lame. It surely isn't and I have to take into account the fact that I started with a "wrong" beer. ❤️❤️ The taste is appealing, slightly sour and, again, abundantly fruity. I'm getting raspberry, lingonberry and bags of vanilla. I would also argue that lactose is there and the amount is not oppressed. Guava can also be identified, it must be pink as it's not very tart. Pineapple is, interestingly, in the background but distinctly recognizeable. The palette is somewhat milkshakey, this time not ice-creamy, but a tad jam-like. Incredible is this one, too! ❤️❤️❤️ The body is medium. The finish gives more berries than fruits but guava doesn't actually disappear anywhere although its intensity reduces a bit. The aftertaste gulps huge amounts of fruit juice and almost pees in its pants with all that load of liquid. The mouthfeel is soft, smooth, milkshakey and also distantly jam-like. It's light-tart, slightly puckering but also lip-glueing. Surely rich in berries, gardeny again, as well as summery. Even juicy. Wow! These guys know how to brew tasty pastry sours.

Myytiin Danica Fructuksen korvaajana. Siihen tästä ei ole. Oikein maukas överi sour. Häviää kuitenkin 6-0 esimerkki -tapaukselle.

Another new brewerie to me. The Brewing Projekt, Eau Claire, WI, USA. ”Basically” between Minneapolis and Chicago. Huge staff they have. Let’s see. BEER: Puff Tart XL - Raspberry, Guava, Pineapple, Vanilla BREWERY: The Brewing Projekt BEER STYLE: Imperial Fruited Sour COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 7.91% COLOUR (EBC): Deep Cherry Red (60.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Raspberries with solid feel of pure forest bed. Yammy stuff. HEAD: Pink, two finger tall, airy and sugary fluffy. GREY’S VIEW Imperial Fruited Sour w/ Raspberry, Guava, Pineapple & Vanilla. First sip and it’s exactly as I wished it to be! Thick with raspberries, solid notes of mouthwatering guava and overall really nice mix of pure berry flavours. Hazy, murky and abundant with them all. Mouthfeel is semi-full-ish, being softly raw and dry forest kind of, yet plentifully juicy all around. It’s a quirky one aye! Aftertaste continues with the mainflavours, with some closer feel of sugars, to the end. OTHER NOTES: Pretty much exactly as I expect it to be. Quirky sour with funny being. Hard to rate, but it’s funny anyway and really fresh all around. CANNED ??/?? TASTED 12/4/2021
