Poured very well, very full, like thick oil. Left a deep black body with trace elements of a chocolate head. Scent is deep chocolate malt, roast espresso and all held together with the punchy alcohol kick. Mouthfeel is slick but pumped up with a light carbonation. Taste starts with the ABV kick but it is quickly pushed aside for the deep roast malts. Bitter chocolate fades to make way for dry, roasted coffee leaving a bitter, dryness in your mouth at the end. A very nice imperial stout.
