Pours rich, dark and frothy. Even the head is a bit chocolaty looking. It's good I think, heavy and INSTANTLY warming. Definitely sweet and a tiny bit chocolate overall - but hits my tongue with sharp flavors that mellow out almost instantly. Mmm leaves a very pleasent vapor in my nose as I breath out. I like that.

Old Yale has only made one beer I didn't care for and with a name like screaming banshee Irish cream stout how could I pass. Pours the darkest black I've seen yet with a nice dark tan head. What can I say, the aroma is an amazing Irish cream, chocolate and standard stout smells. The flavour is deep and rich. Sweet but balanced with hops and roast bitterness. There is a lot going on here in my limited opinion. Irish cream, chocolate, coffee, roast malt, sweet cream. The sip starts sweet and finishes dry with the bitter/roast notes. One of my new favorite stouts.
