A smooth pour to a body of smooth black with a half finger of white head. The scent is very peculiar, it's quite hoppy, very unusual for a stout, it smells like a black ipa. Mouthfeel is very carbonated and obviously, dry. The taste is much like the scent, very hoppy but utterly lacking any classic stout taste profiles. It is nice but is not what I wanted when I reached for a stout.
