BlechBrut   Kommod Gar nicht kommod,.... ....sondern ziemlich aufregend ist dieses 8,2%ige DIPA aus der 0,44er Dose mit dem etwas zerfetzten Etikett aus dem Hilfepaket für Sudden Death. Aus der Dose kommt ein schlammig trübes, komplett blickdichtes und orangefarbene Bier, dessen Schaum prima am Glasrand kleben bleibt. Schon beim Eingießen strömt ein Potpourri tropisch-fruchtiger Aromen in die Nase, was sich beim näheren Schnüffeln noch intensiviert. Passionsfrucht, Grapefruit, Citrus und ein Fitzelchen Pfirsich. Das ist schon mal klasse. Und auch gustatorisch verschenkt dieses DIPA Einiges. Die fruchtigen Aromen werden 1:1 übernommen und kurz nach dem ersten Schluck wird's erst fruchtig-säuerlich und leicht süß, um anschließend ins Bittere umzuschlagen. Die Säure bleibt aber gleichwertig neben den ordentlich bitteren Noten stehen. Schön harmonisch abgestimmt und sehr lecker ist's. Sowohl der Abgang ais auch der Nachhall sind intensiv und langanhaltend. Fruchtsäuerlich und bitter. Das Kommod ist ein tolles und empfehlenswertes Bier mit ordentlich Charakter.

New beer in Pint Please. I'm, starting to become kind of like a fan of Blech Brut. I think they brew awesome beers. Best before is 18.4.2021 but the brewery's IG shows that this beer is one of the new beers launched on 7.11.2020, making this about 2,5 months old🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Temperature: +8 C Looks like the other IPAs from the brewery have looked: tall, dense, and long-lasting creamy head. And again the color is darker than usual but doesn't look oxidized (the real color is a tad paler than what it does look in the picture) : 4,5/5 Unfortunately, the hops have faded badly, only some kind of perfumy like aroma is there. Although I'm not 100% sure is it from the hops. The Kveik pushes through with the canned fruit aroma, some orange and spiciness as well. Smells even a bit mushroom-ish. My guess for the yeast Strain would be Hornindal Kveik: 2,5/5 The mouthfeel is really soft and juicywith basically no bitterness whatsoever. Oat and wheat build the body but really there isn't anything else. The carbonation is low: 3,25/5 The taste shows similar Kveik characteristics as what did the scent. Then there's oat and wheat but pretty much no hops. Well, shit: 7/15 Damn son. I had so much expectations for this one. Even if the 2,5 months old NEIPA is starting to be in retirement age, it should not be this dull. Not much to say about this. Big time disappointment: 11,5/20 =28,75/50
