We made Marley Barley in the beginning of 2020 with a hint of whiskey malt and then let it rest 10 month in a Heaven Hill Bourbon barrel and 1 extra month in the tank.
What we got is a deep amber color, oak barrel and walnut in the scent and berry fruitiness and more walnutty, caramelly taste. All these come together to let this 10% barley wine still be highly drinkable with its lower, aleish carbonation level.

Melko erikoinen, bourbonin tapaisella purevuudella makeahko sekä yllättävän millään tavalla haittaamattoman vetinen ja mukava makukimara. Tätä kannattaa kokeilla vielä kun hanassa riittää!

Smells like burbon. Tastes a bit like burbon and you have the feeling of getting killed. But somehow I like it. It's worth a try.
Es riecht nach burbon, schmeckt wie burbon und man hat das Gefühl als würde man sterben (wenn man noch einen weiteren schluck nehmen würde). Aber trotzdem mag ich es irgendwie.

Väri tummanpunaruskea. Tuoksussa viskiä ja tynnyriä. Viski tulee vahvasti myös suutuntumassa. Prosentit ei maistu mutta epäilemättä niitä on. Ei nyt ihan parhaita barleja mutta juotavissa. Mallaskellaripanimon viimeinen tuote
