Blue Top 4.8%, Old Dairy Brewery, England

Blue Top
4.8% India Pale Ale
Inspired by the famous India Pale Ales brewed in the 18th century, Blue Top delivers a satisfying bitterness smoothly balanced with caramel flavours from the Crystal and Maris Otter malts, finished with a refreshing hint of citrus from East Kent Golding, Challenger and Bobek hops. Ideal with a curry or other spicy dishes.

Decent drink. Nice hoppy aroma with a creamy taste to start with. Fruity taste with a nice bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable drink and a good session ale

A Kentish IPA with caramel flavours from the two malts with refreshing citrusy hop flavours. Fairly strong at 4.8% but a good session IPA for warm days.

Quite hoppy, but what else do you expect from a Kent ale. Fairly bitter aftertaste, but not unpleasant
