A really good hazy thick mouth filling DDH Pale with lots of juicy flavour. Another Cloudwater master piece.

Pale straw coloured and very hazy is this double dry hop pale ale. It's got a nice fresh smell, giving off aromas of peach, apricot, pineapple, orange and lychee. It also suggests a sense of big body and strength besides the fact it's a 5% ABV. Soft in the mouth with notable carbonation though fizziness doesn't continue, much like the head dissipation after pouring. It has a medium body and a medium finish, with a bitter after-taste. Bitter citrus without being sour or sweet. Think bitter lemon with grapefruit juice, lychee and hidden peach. It's fresh and green tasting but not altogether pleasant and I can't pin down exactly why. It's very hoppy and dank, especially when you drink straight from the can (I am suspicious of how clean my glass is so I gave the can a go)! The strong hopiness does stay with you and extends the finish as it builds. There's almost an umami element to this brew. Canned almost a month ago, so it's not that old and the immense hops affirm this. Although it may be juicy, it's not tropical and not even that citrusy, more bitter and dank. I suspect this beer will evolve a bit as it breathes more and warms up.

Excellente, des parfums de mangue bien mûre, belle couleur. En bouche, explosion de goûts, pamplemousse, mangue et praliné. 😋👌
