The joys of discovering a beer! I was like a kid on Christmas morning when I saw that my local microbrewery had a crate of this in stock. The original Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout is one of my favourites. It’s good in bottles and from keg but is absolutely sublime if you’re lucky enough to find it on cask. So to take that beer and collaborate with a favourite brewery of mine (Arbor Ales) to do a double version made me very excited indeed. It’s big, bold and full of flavour. It’s very drinkable for a big beer, and that’s down to the lactose tempering the big roasty flavours. I could drink this all night...
