Murky, black beer with vibrant carbonation unlocks a fawn, spongy head that reaches four fingers. Retention is protracted as a patchy moldy layer adorns the top. The foamy lid bends neatly upward against the rim of the wall. Dark chocolate, rye dough and a drop of espresso emanate to my nose. Nicely clean and predictable. The taste profile is bolder than what the fragrance predicts: I can now find rather strong licorice that is absent in the air. Moreover, I enjoy raw cacao nibs, rye dough, also oat flakes, a hint of black coffee and roasted note among the gustatory elements. Generally speaking, enjoyable and definitely not shy. The body is medium-full. The finish gives even more licorice than earlier, roasted malt that is also a bit burned and a good amount of rye dough. The aftertaste believes in one love and the unity of humankind. The mouthfeel is medium-full, relatively intense, roasty, medium-dry, balanced and slightly lip-glueing. I admit that I wasn't thrilled first when I got a bunch of beers from Kråkö. I had prejudices. I'm glad that the brewery has performed better than I first thought. I still have some interesting samples to taste. #summerbeer22

Makea ja voimakkaan maltainen. Paahteisuutta tulee pikkuisen jälkijunassa; tummapaahtoista kahvia, hiiltynyttä puuta ja pikkuisen maitosuklaata, toimii oikein hyvin kun on näin makea olut kyseessä. Kaurapuuro jää maussa vähän turhankin taka-alalle, mutta maistuu kumminkin. Suuntuntuma sen sijaan muistuttaa melko paljon siivilöityä löysähkön puuron "lientä". Vähän kun kerkeää lämmetä, maku perinteisesti pyöristyy, mutta myös alkoholi nousee pikkuisen liikaa joskaan ei varsinaisesti häiritsevästi esille. Jälkimaku häivenee hiljalleen ja se on loppupuolella hyvin miellyttävää tummapaahtoista kahvia pienellä ripauksella sokeria, jota hento maltaan perusmaku tukee oikein hyvin.
