Toinen arvio tälle oluelle ja uusi yritys. Viimeksi epäilin että olut on viallinen, joten katsotaan uudestaan. Aika pieni kuplainen vaahto joka pysyy mukavasti. Yllättävän hyvin. Värihän on oikein miellyttävän keltainen. Auringon keltainen ja ihan aavistuksen harmaa. Mukava mehustelu väri siis. Tuoksussa aprikoosia, melonia, troopista makeutta ja hedelmää. Varsin miellyttävä tuoksu. Pientä kirpeyttä ja raikkautta. Maussa kypsää hedelmää, pienen pieni hedelmäinen paahteisuus siis hyvällä tavalla. Pientä kirpeyttä. Raikas, ylikypsien hedelmien maku. Pehmeä ja pyöreä jälkimaku jota humala hyvin saattelee. Mukava pehmeä humalointi. Kivasti hapokas ja kuiva veto olut. Hyvin tehty tuote. Eli nyt selvisi sekin että edellinen oli pilalla. Tämä on ihan eri olut. Ei tässä vikaa oli. Kyllä näitä joisi.

Keskikokoista kuplaa vaahto ja kohtuullisesti pysyy. Väri on samea Ananas mehu. Aika keltainen. Aika kivan paksu. Tuoksussa on vähän käymisen aromeja mikä ei lupaa hyvää. Sellaista raakaa tuoksua. Saa nähdä onko tämä kunnossa. Aprikoosia tulee. Vähän vaniljaa. Persikkaa myös löytyy. Maku ratkaisee. Aprikoosia ja persikkaa ensin. Humalointi on aika voimakas. On tämä nyt suht raikas ei mikään hedelmä pommi. Ei ihan mun makuun. Odotin enemmän. Voi olla että ei ole täysin kunnossa tämä. Vahvasti epäilen. Maut selkeästi jää piippuun ja raikkautta kaipaisi lisää. Tölkissä ei ole purkitus päivää joten vaikea sanoa kuinka vanha tämä on. Tässä kunnossa en ostaisi lisää jos on tämän makuista. SOLAR ECLIPSE BEER! 🌔 Today we witnessed a partial solar eclipse in Finland. The Moon orbits in front of the Sun and casts its shadow on the Earth. Up to 39 % of the Sun was covered in my location. The peak was exactly at 2.05 pm. Very up in the north of Finland, the eclipse was even 61 %. It's really difficult to document the eclipse in a picture without a heavy filter on the camera lens. A welding mask would be good but I don't have one. Therefore, I have resorted to an indirect method of "pinhole camera". It's very simple: just place a cardboard sheet facing the sun orthogonally, pinch a tiny pinhole in it, and the picture of the sun is reflected on the surface behind the sheet. You may have to adjust the position of the surface and/or the sheet to find the sharpest reflection. My surface happened to be a beer can. 😄 You can see the projection of the Sun as a bright spot below "A". You can also see the segment covered by the Moon in the lower part of the bright spot. In reality, the Moon-eaten segment is in the upper part of the Sun but the pinhole camera flips the reflection upsidedown. If you don't believe me, just google the method. Now the beer. The beer witnesses this eclipse as misty, peach nectar colored. The perky carbonation unleashes an off-white, medium-bubbled froth that shoots up to three fingers. The foamy tower melts soon to a patchy lacing and a soapy lace ring on the top. The nose gets surprised because of the restrained olfactory supply: small amounts of grapefruit zest, lemon pulp and peach can first be detected. Soon I'm getting additionally a hint of lime. The taste profile is also quite subdued and falls drastically behind my anticipation. What I receive here include raw pineapple, grapefruit zest, a bit of lemon pith and a pinch of fresh mint. Astonishingly modest and lukewarm — the Untappd average 3.93 is hyped in my opinion. The body is light. The finish offers no new elements, neither does it drop any of them on the floor. Identical to the actual taste. The aftertaste falls apart every now and then but the tastebuds rapidly remind that forever's gonna start tonight. The mouthfeel is light, reasonably zesty, a tad pulpy but also moderately pithy. There are also characteristics of crispness, dryness and dryingness but they all are quite introvert. On a positive note, this is quaffable; I could gulp these as thirst quencher easily. I can't verify its freshness as the can doesn't give any information on brewing or canning. I guess this is fresh since it's marked with "new in store" at Pien Shop. I would be very skeptical about such a label in many other beershops but I trust Pien in this.
