Reilun vuoden ajan tämä on jääkaapin ovessa vuoroaan odotellut. Nyt oli hänen aikansa. Tuoksussa tosi runsaasti tynnyröintiä ja viskiä. Suutuntuma matalahiilihappoinen, pehmeä, ryhdikäs, juotava ja makeahko. Maussa viskiä, makeutta, tynnyriä, karamelliä ja kuivattuja hedelmiä. Jälkimaussa lempeää viskiä, joka lämmittää kivasti alas mennessään. Tykkään tästä. Joo on tynnyrivetoinen, mutta on silti tosi kivan pehmeä, ryhdikäs ja miellyttävä. Hieman paksumpi runko saisi tosin olla

Korjataan eilinen arvio oikean olusen alle. Työpaikan virtuaalinen tasting Olut on väriltään punertavan ruskea ja vähä vaahtoinen olut. Tuoksu luumuinen, limppuinen, hieman paahteinen sekä mausteinen. Maku on pähkinäinen, hieman banaanimainen, ruisleipäinen. Prosentit ei maistu läpi. Petollista hyvää tavaraa. Sopii vanilja jäätelön kanssa nautittavaksi

Vaniljaista bourbontynnyriä, maltaista ja makeaa pohjaa. Todella kova yllättäjä!

Ei uppoa samalla tavalla kuin alkutalvesta. Tunkkaisempi ja maan makuinen. Salmiakkia.

0,33 pullo. Oikein hyvä maltainen ja toffeinen, pikkaisen makea bock. Tynnyrikypsytys on pyöristänyt makuja sopivasti.

Vieno viskin tuoksu. Hieman siirappimaisen makeahkon maltainen. Yllättävän kevyt, ottaen huomioon vahvuuden. Tietenkään alkoholi ei tunnu eikä maistu...mikä on petollista. Hyvä, hieman lyhyt jälkimaku.

I had the regular, non-barreled version of "Bock Me Amadeus!! Doppelbock" in the summer, a bit more than half a year ago. It was a lamentable failure. Now, this is a double barrel aged version, the barrels being Jim Beam and Heaven Hill. I'm gonna find out if this is a double failure or a big positive surprise. I'm keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 and hoping for the best. The beer pours translucent, dark raisin. The languid carbonation lays a latte-hued, silky head that fails to grow half a finger tall. Retention is long with a silky circle kissing the glass and a faint haze at the center. The scent is attractive! Unlike last time when it was really unnice. Now I can pick sweet malt, very gentle Bourbon, some vanilla, toffee, brown sugar and a suggestion of corn syrup. The fragrance of barrel is ineluctable and wondrously tender. Like a totally different level now! Feels like a balmy night on a Caribbean island. The palate follows the suit with pride. The components are sweet, deep and mellow: silky Bourbon invites notes of vanilla, toffee, cream and a drop of syrup. The distinct nuance of oak barrel intensifies on the sides of the tongue and leaves a woody impression behind. Additionally, raisin and dried plum bring in their aromas to the package. The taste profile is somewhat boozy but in a truly delicious way. 🤎🤎🤎 The body is full. The beer finishes with a narrower package than upfront. Especially the elegant nuances are either more timid now or completely hidden. Bourbon is unbeatable and increasingly alcoholic as well as it allows one to sense the aged oak barrel. The elements of syrup, raisin, dried plum and sweet malt are still depictable. The aftertaste climbs on the Heaven Hill together with the tastebuds and decides to stay there forever. The mouthfeel is full, quite deep, velvety and smooth. It's rather intense and strong, barrel aged no doubt, mature, a tad alcoholic and beautifully warming. The mouthfeel is, moreover, medium-sticky and lip-glueing, neatly layered and even a tad complex. This is so different from the regular version that my conclusion now afterwards is that it must have been spoiled. Sh*t in a golden pot doesn't turn gold; it's still sh*t. The regular version must, therefore, have been sh*t. This DBA version is gold. Symbolically. Very tasty, top notch, world class. A double barrel aged doppelbock is not something that you come across every day. This is a 🇫🇮 masterpiece! 🤎🤎🤎 NOTE: The barcode leads to the regular version.
