Vaaleanruskea paksu ja pysyvä vaahto. Väri on pikimusta eikä läpi näy. Tuoksussa mustaa kahvia, tummaa suklaata, vaniljaa. Tuoksu on kyllä hyvä. Vähän tulee kanelipulla mieleen. Maku vastaa hyvinkin tuoksua. Hyvin kahvinen, tumman paahteinen, pehmeä. Aika sellainen helppo. Ei oikein mitään makuelämyksiä tarjoa. Pehmeä perus Stout.

Hoppy IPA Day to all! 🍺 Unfortunately I don't have an IPA at hand but let me toast for all the IPAs of the world with a Stout whose best before was on 13 June 🤦 The label suggests that this is a wintry beer. Works well enough today — hey, Christmas is only 141 days from now. Ho ho ho! 🎅🏼🌲❄️ The beer colors muddy black. Carbonation is rushed after a long time in bottle but fairly loud and fizzy. Yet, a silky tawny head rises half a finger tall and melts hastily away. Milk chocolate is dominant on the nose. As if lactose rounded the flavor edges but it's actually vanilla that lurks in the background. Not bad at all for an outdated beer. The gustatory supply consists of licorice, dark chocolate, a bit of roasted malt, subtle vanilla and a whisper of harsh cinnamon. A faint charred note sends a flying kiss to the main crew. The body is light. The finish puts forward more licorice than before whereas chocolate and vanilla tend to decline in intensity. The roasted touch seems to become even burned and a tad charred. Cinnamon is spicy and far from delicate. The aftertaste wishes a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year well in advance. The mouthfeel is medium-strong, roasty, distantly burned as well as lip-glueing. It's also remotely spiced which makes it wintry. Rather successful for an outdated 5 % Stout.
