Availability: 12 Beers of Christmas Mix Pack Exclusive for 2020
Malty, creamy, and moderately sweet, we brewed this Wee Heavy with Scottish Golden Promise barley malt to add a deep fullness and a hint herbal/floral tenderness.

This is the third beer of Clown Shoes 12 Beers of Christmas. Ryan and I had this in the 2020 collection. I was new and inexperienced. I'll see if I learned anything.
Short head but it is lasting a while, has an orange tint. It's lightly hazy with a burnt orange color. Aroma only has a sweet malt. Texture is soft and smooth. After numerous sips and intense analysis we came up with this. Bready malt dominates, more like toast, sweet from a distant background of dark peach preserve and a dash of black pepper. Finish exposes a mild hop bitterness, has a citrus type quality, maybe lemon peel.
The more we studied it, the more interesting it got. But bottom line is I would not ask for another. Interesting but I would pass on this for something else. Even with more analysis I'm not going to change my original low rating.

Day five of "Clown Shoes 12 Days of Christmas" pack.
Moderate white head that dissipates quickly. Reddish orange color, slightly hazy but not much. Aroma is malty and somewhat sour. Texture comes across as very soft and creamy. Flavor is a mild sour sweet and floral. Very gentle with a quickly disappearing finish.
Nothing very special about this.
