This is the first beer of Clown Shoes Beer's "The 12 Beers of Christmas" pack. Pours with a very high frothy head. Very hazy, deep orange color. Strong citrus aroma. Very smooth texture, almost creamy. Delicious citrus flavor dominated by grapefruit with a little orange peel trailing off. Mildly bitter which suits me just right. Finish is complex in that you feel the bitterness on the back of the tongue but simultaneously sweet in the front. Strangely well balanced. I have never been a big lover of IPAs but I could have these all day long. As good an IPA as I've ever had.
