Surprisingly light and thin pour for an imperial stout. Body is expectant black with a slight brown hue and no head or foam. Aroma is very good, distinct peanut scent with a slight sweetness in the back. The peanut scent is not over powering or overly sweet and synthetic tasting. A great balance was achieved. Mouthfeel is quite light with trace carbonation and smooth heat from the alcohol. Taste is nicely rounded with a chocolate malt backbone, nicely balanced with a very slight but natural saltiness from the peanut (butter). An excellent flavoured stout.
