A reasonable ruby ale. Rounded with a slight caramel flavour. It’s tasty and actually quite good.

Bottle-500ml. Good. A Winter Ale, you may imagine to be full and warming to counteract the coldness of the winter weather, this wouldn’t achieve that, though it was a pleasant enough English beer. This was the first time drank and it was in May 2023.

Decent drink. Nice malty aroma and taste with a subtle caramelish finish. Enjoyable and a good session ale

A nice standard very drinkable English bitter. But a Winter Ale? Not in my humble opinion, would need to be stronger and darker. More like it was brewed in the winter, or is a winter ale somewhere hot like Spain maybe!
