This velvety soft ale has a stubbornly loyal following. Rich dark malts are layered in a seamless manner. Fine tuning with a blend of bittering, aroma, and flavour hops produce an amazingly smooth finish and a lingering taste. This is a full bodied ale with a rich and gentle flavour.

Initial aroma comes across as hoppy and skunky (in the good way) with an excellent grainy malt sweetness. Floral and a bit fruity with a bit of bread or cracker.
That got me excited. I dig a nice skunky (in the good way) hops.
The skunkiness (in the good way) disappears upon the sip and becomes much more floral and nicely hoppy. Very pleasant. The malt profile carries on as it did in the aroma and is crisp clean and just the right amount. The hops and malt really compliment each other wonderfully. I'm not sure if it's from the yeast or hops, but there is a pleasing spicy suggestion in there too.
Really nice beer.
