Canned on 20.10.2020 Temperature: +10 C As is customary for Deya beers, brilliant looking brew. Pale yellow, hazy with tall, creamy, and long-lasting head which leaves lots of lace behind: 4,75/5 The nose has a fresh pellety-like character (you know how the pellets smell like) and plenty of ripe oranges. A good showcase of Amarillo hops: 4/5 Mouthfeel is medium, quite soft with low bitterness. Good, but usually Deya manages to do better: 4/5 The taste is mostly orange and some wheat flavor which to me is too noticeable and strong. I feel like it's taking off the hop power: 10,5/15 What it comes to single hopped beers: nice. But what it comes for the brewery's usual work: perhaps, at some level, disappointment. Especially that overly strong wheat flavor is something that "lesser" breweries usually do and where their hopped beers fail. Brilliant breweries rarely do these kinds of mistakes: 14/20 =37,25/50

Nyt. Olutta. Kiitos. Noin 6 viikkoinen Deyan Single Hop DIPA istahtaa lasiin hienon näköisenä. Täysin samean keltainen olut saa kauniin vaahtokruunun päälleen. Tuoksu on humalaisen yrttinen, trooppishedelmäinen ja miellyttävä. Kielenpäällä olut on pureskeltavan mehukas. Alkuun maku on täysin kiwihedelmäinen. Myöhemmin myös appelsiininen ja raikkaan vastaleikatun ruohoinen. Hyvin pehmeä ja melko täyteläinen runko. Loppua kohden syvyyspuoli pettää hieman. Myös tämä Deya on huomattavan raikas, tasapainoinen ja puhdas. Hienoa työtä! 🍻

Amarillo ei ole niitä omia suosikkeja humalien joukossa mutta toimii hyvin tässä. Oikein hyvää.

Sauna beer from yesterday. Single hop Amarillo DIPA. Canned on 20/10/20. Bright yellow and hazy. About two fingers thick white head. This was nicely smooth and fresh with tangerine, peach and orange. Grapefruity bite along the way. Slightly dry feel on the tongue and some burning sensation at the back end. Went down pretty quickly after sauna.
