It's almost two years since my last visit to this place, as well. Uhh... I forgot to tell the guy behind the counter that half a portion suffices. Now I have a whole pint of Weizenbock... 😯 The beer looks actually transparent but its deep mahogany color gives an impression of murkiness. The tap releases a beautiful latte-hued, silky layer that initially grows two fingers tall. Very cute! The top is still decorated by a dense lacing after a long while, and thick splashes cover the wall of the glass up to the level where the foam had touched. The olfactory provision includes bags of soft wheat malt and brown biscuit. The banana aroma is actually really weak. Instead, I can pick something berry-like, perhaps cranberry. The taste provision is astonishingly nice, not exactly a classical Weizenbock but pimped with berries. I find cranberry, a bit of lingonberry, strong wheat malt, fairly powerful bitter caramel and a pinch of brown cookie. Alcohol is just on the edge if it signals its presence or not. Orange peel and a tiny pinch of clove seal the package. A bit different but quite nice actually. The body is medium to medium-full. Cool. 🤎 The finish more or less hides its sweeter side and highlights crisper components, including a small amendment of pine needles. The aftertaste swims in wheat wort over long duration and is almost sucked in a drainage but gets back afloat. The mouthfeel is a tad heavy, satiating, slightly lip-glueing, velvety and truly smooth. More gulpable than I first thought.

Tumma burgundi, paksuhko vaahto. Hapokasta marjaa karpalon muodossa tuoksussa. Rapsakka kärki vahvalla marjaisalla hapokkuudella ja poreilla. Pientä tammisuutta. Tanakan maltainen runko punakalla mallasmaailmalla. Sitruksista hapokkuutta jälkimakuun mentäessä. Pieni karpaloinen karvaus jälkimaun lopussa. Hyvä jälkiruoka Fättärin W.T.F. -pizzan jälkeen.

Makea, kevyen vehnäinen, maltainen. Ihan hyvä makusteluun.

Kivan paahteinen. Hedelmää, ei banaania, selkeä pieni makeus. Kiva raikkaus, vehnä ei tässä juurikaan maistu. Erittäin mukavasti juotava, hieman yksiulotteinen. Pehmeä.
