Canned on 20.10.2020 so about one month old. Temperature: +8 C Juicy looking brew with a tall, fluffy head that has good retention. The lace pattern somewhat resembles one found on pikes. As a fisherman, I like that: 4,5/5 The nose is citrus heavy with some papaya notes, even some tangerine. Mild resiny pine aroma as well. Decent. Fresh and with ok intensity: 4/5 Mouthfeel flows nicely being round and medium-full. This not all about softness as there’s notable bitterness cutting through the backbone. But that feels proper and it not the most in your face bitterness. It just is: 4,25/5 The taste is also heavy with citrus and resiny pine. Overall the taste profile is much more towards the classic West Coast IIPAs than what most modern time IPAs are. Perhaps that's the point? The aftertaste is mild with some dryness curtesy of the bitterness: 11,75/15 Good beer. But compared to some other European hoppy beers like those from Deya or Verdant, it seems that Gamma doesn't quite get all the best aromas out of the hops🤷‍♂️and one thing I've also noted about Gamma is that their beers seem to go downhill relatively fast. After some 1,5 months in the can it seems. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this beer very much, and is a high-level brew: 15,25/20 =39,75/50

Vuoden harmain päivä muilla, mutta Joensuussa oli nätti auringon paiste koko päivän, joten minä pysyn keltaisissa juomissa. Tanskan maalla jatketaan, mutta siirtytään Gammaan. Ehdottomasti lempipanimoitani ja odotuksia on. Uusi dipa myös Pintille. Tölkitetty 20.10. ULKOASULTAAN olut on sameaa oranssin keltaista ja siihen nousee valkoinen vaahto. TUOKSU on greippinen, sitruunainen ja kukkainen. MAKU hieman makea ja pehmeän hedelmälihainen. Greippiä, persikkaa kuorineen, ananasta ja taustalla pientä yrttisyyttä ja kukkaisuutta. SUUTUNTUMA on keskitäyteläinen+ ja melko pehmeä. On taas taattua Gammaa. Melko suoraviivainen, mutta puhdas makumaailma.
