Had this in the back of the fridge for ages. Never really fancied it. It’s an ok porter, nothing special.

Off to the rugby later, so having a few pre match pints here... Starting off with this cracking porter, can be a tad heavy but it's delicious.

Smokey dark beer, love the taste. Will drink a few more if I head near the north east again!

Dark Red/Brown in colour 1/8inch mocha head with light to medium lacing. Nose hints of liquorice and nothing else for me. Mouth feel is softly effervescent, rich dark chocolate and even date I say almost a hint of rum. Swallow brings on the smokiness, it's relaxing and rewarding. Very pleasant. Supper is in the oven, all is well with the world.
