2020 Pumpkinator in Bourbon Barrels

This year we’re excited to release not one, but two barrel aged versions of Pumpkinator. Like the past few years, limited quantities of our Woodford Reserve bourbon barrel aged Pumpkinator will be available. With oak, bourbon, vanilla, and dark fruit notes (and at 12.9% ABV), it’s even bigger than the original.

Color obscuro, cuerpo medio, buena espuma. Sabores a caramelo y muy dulce. Es una stout pero se siente el sabor muy amaderado y fuerte de la barrica de bourbon.

Special brew this year from St Arnold brewery in Houston. Pumpkin beer in bourbon barrels.
Pours a very deep brown color, not what I expected from a pumpkin beer. Almost no head. Strong spice aroma. Thick texture. Extremely strong bourbon in the forefront. 12.9% alcohol comes at you hard. Spice and pumpkin aren't evident until the finish. I enjoy a lot of flavor but this one is too powerful for me.
