While the history of the Irish Red Ale may be a little foggy of it’s exact origins, it stemmed from English ales into the Irish brewing tradition with took on a style of it’s own. The bitterness is lowered and almost tea like, with a lovely sweet body and the addition of roasted barley to give the beer it’s reddish colour and a dry finish
