A smooth and creamy coffee porter dream come true! I'm in love with what nitro dose to a beers texture, it makes it almost gummy and soft-but in a good way like the foam on top of a well made cappuccino.... Great coffee flavor. Out of all the coffee dessert beers I have been enjoying this one is my new favorite. And at 6% it gives my tummy that warmth I love so much. Mmmm yum yum

Thanks peachmeat for giving me this beer. I didn't think I'd had it before but I guess this will be a revisit review. Pour it hard to get a nice thick nitro head on this deep dark ruby porter. I love watching nitrogen bubbles cascade in the glass. Aromas of dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of something creamy sweet. The wonderful nitro creaminess is overshadowed by a massive dark roast, bitter, burnt coffee taste and dark chocolate. So much coffee. There is hints of sweetness that reminds me of lactose in a milk stout but it is buried under, .... wait for it,.....Coffee. *whispers "coffee" under his breath...

A tantalizing rich mellow coffee and chocolate aromas promise delicious things. Very interesting flavour profile surprised me. Based on the aroma Ines's expecting sweet creamy and much more chocolate. Instead, the coffee is much more prominent. The body is much thinner than I anticipated and the chocolate flavour is more of an undertone. There is some sweetness, but it is cut very well with hops. A coffee Porter that lives up to it's name.
