Brewed on the banks of the Heathcote River in Woolston, home to the tannery in Christchurch. This is a traditional Pale Ale with distinctive New Zealand characteristics. A combination of punchy hop flavours from the late hopping with Nelson Suavin and Motueka varieties brings fruity, white-wine like aromas to sit on top of a trio of lightly toasted malts. Rich and rounded with a smooth mouthfeel.

Golden coloured pale ale. Citrus aroma and flavour. Reasonable but nothing special.
