Our first barrel release is a batch of saison we brewed back in March and aged in a Lailey Pinot Barrel for six months. The pinot grape character (cherry or raspberry) is evident in the aroma as is the toasty French oak and the underlying lemony saison. This is a very dry beer, with lots of rich barrel flavours and a bright peppery finish with a touch of oaky tannin. Enjoy this limited release beer while you can!
